Our Mission

We are bridging the gap between research and real-life pet care

When knowledge becomes accessible, compassion becomes inevitable.

Our Story

At Animal Insights,
we see the love people have for their animals and we also see their worry. Most pet owners are doing their very best, but they’re surrounded by confusing and conflicting advice with not enough accessible professional support. We get it. We've been there too.

That's why we created Animal Insights:
to provide clear, science-based support that’s grounded in compassion. We offer pet parents the knowledge and tools they need to confidently care for their animals because when people are supported, animals thrive. Unintentional neglect isn’t about carelessness
it’s about not having the right help. We’re here to change that.

 Our Vision

To transform how people understand and care for animals—through clear, compassionate, science-based education that meets people where they are, is built for real life, and supports their growth, every step of the way.

Our Values

Our work is rooted in a commitment to ensuring that informed, ethical care is the foundation of every relationship between humans and animals.

Our Value Proposition

We make evidence-based knowledge about all types of pets easy to access, understand, and apply—without judgment, so learners at every stage can grow with confidence and compassion
  • Written by educated professionals
  • Practical & realistic protocols
  • Welfare-first methods
  • Clear and accessible language

Commitment To Inclusion & Accessibility

We believe learning should feel clear, supportive, and possible for everyone. Animal Insights is built for people with different brains, different learning styles, and different levels of experience. You do not need a background in science, training, or animal behavior to succeed here.

What this means in practice

Plain-language education
We use clear words, short sentences, and practical examples.
No unnecessary complexity or jargon

Easy to speed read and easy to pause
Lessons are broken into small sections with headings, bullet points, and spacing.
This helps reduce overwhelm and supports focus.

ADHD, ASD, and dyslexia-friendly design
We avoid large blocks of text.
Important ideas are repeated in simple ways.
We use videos and images intentionally to support learning
- Visuals are used to reinforce key ideas
- Images and videos help deepen understanding, especially for visual and pattern-based learners
- Complex concepts are shown step by step
- Important information is always available in more than one format (written + visual)

Printable instructions and checklists
Many lessons include printable guides so you don’t have to remember everything.
You can reference them anytime.

Support for executive functioning challenges
We include ADHD centered tools for:
- remembering to practice
- breaking skills into small steps
- building routines that actually stick
- reducing “all-or-nothing” thinking

Screen Reader & Assistive Technology Support
We design our courses to work with screen readers and assistive technology.
- Every image includes a written description
- Images are described so learners using screen readers can understand the content and context.
- Videos include clear verbal explanations
- Important visual information is explained out loud whenever possible, not just shown on screen.
- Instructions are never image-only
- Key steps, exercises, and explanations are always written in text not locked inside visuals.
- Clear structure for easy navigation
- Headings, lists, and logical layout help screen reader users move through lessons efficiently.

Our goal is that no one misses information because of how it’s presented.
If content is important, it’s available in more than one format.

Trauma-informed
Our methods are certified trauma-informed and focus on safety, predictability, and regulation for both humans and animals.

Neurodivergence is expected, not “special”
We design courses assuming many learners are neurodivergent.
You are not an exception you are who this was built for.

We explain the why — not just the how
Many people need to understand why something works before they can use it.

In our courses, we:
explain what’s happening in the brain and nervous system
connect science to real-life behavior
show how each method helps, not just what to do

This helps you apply skills with confidence

No judgment. No shame. No pressure.
You can:
- move at your own pace
- pause and come back later
- skip what you don’t need
- repeat lessons as often as you want
Progress here is not about perfection.
